Types of Ringtones

Ringtones are not just the sounds that your cell phone makes when it is ringing. They are usually formed to sound like popular songs, theme music, and classics from the great composers of the past; as opposed to the regular ringing a phone makes. Most cell phones come equipped with 20 or so built in ringtones that can range from anywhere to Beethoven and Mozart sonatas, to that ever annoying Nokia sound bite. By now we all hate that one, but you don’t have to worry about that anymore. Ringtones now come in many different styles and sounds, such as:

• Jokes: have your favorite jokes come up every time your cell phone rings for a laugh.
• Songs: let your favorite popular song play so that you can thoroughly enjoy every call that comes in
• Theme music: your favorite movie theme song can play which will let others know your personality
• Pre-recording: you can record your own personal messages and reminders so that nothing is ever forgotten again.

There are so many different types of ringtones to choose from that it can really be hard to settle on one that’s right for you. Ringtones are often free or very cheap to download so you need not worry about that anymore. You can get many or one of each different type that you can easily change whenever you choose. Don’t let your cell phone’s ringing give you a headache, when you can easily just change your ringtone. Setting the phone to vibrate is useless when you are busy or if your phone is nowhere near you.
